Why Post?

You have valuable lessons to share! This communal blog is the perfect outlet to show the world what works for you, what doesn’t, and can also spark some great discussions about how others are using Social Media. We will be heavily promoting this site, so by putting together a good bio and useful content, you should get some great traffic as a result!

Do They Have To Be Exclusive?

We prefer to publish exclusive articles, but you may submit syndicated content for which you own the rights.

How Do I Post?

You can click  on “Register To Post” and this will take you to a page to register.

Once you click register, you will get an email with your chosen user name and a temporary password.

You can then login by clicking on the link in the email or by going to:

http://wearesocialpeople.com/wp-login.php

Once you’re in you will see a red box at the top of the screen. You can click “change password” to change your password to something more memorable.

You can check to see if any of your articles have been published by clicking on posts:

Can I add photos to my posts?

We will add the photos later. If you have a particular photo you would like us to use, please send us an e-mail with the article title and the images.

How long will it take for my post to be approved?

It could take 3 to 5 days before your post appears on the site. If it has been longer than 7 business days, you can assume that the article has not been approved. We manually review every article before launching it.

What types of articles do you approve?

We are very open to what is posted, but we cannot allow spam or blatant self-promotion. Please use the author box in your profile to give your bio.

This will be posted along with a picture if you use an email registered with Gravatar. Generally as long as you post relevant, interesting articles that you are the author of, we will be happy to post it!

What About Press Releases?

We will approve press releases, however these may not show up on the home page, but rather in the Press Release category which can be viewed on the sidebar.

By submitting an article you are agreeing to these terms.

Submitting an article does not guarantee it will be posted. We reserve the right to lightly edit any post submitted for publishing. We may change titles, formating, and even rework the article to make sure it suits our audience best. If you submit something and find you  no longer want it on WeAreSocialPeople.com please contact us and we will remove it within 2 business days. We reserve the right to promote the article as we see fit. If an article is ever reproduced off of WeAreSocialPeople.com the author will be given full credit.
